Kente cloth is a hand-woven cloth originally made by the Asanti people in Ghana. It is characterized by patterns and specific colors, all which have a special meaning:
Red represents passion, bloodshed, and death.
Purple represents femininity and healing.
Green represents planting and growth.
Gold represents royalty and wealth.
Black represents maturity and strength.
Blue represents peace and harmony.
White represents purity and healing.
