Where are CGM tapes by ExpressionMed made?

ExpressionMed CGM tapes are made and packaged in the USA. 

 

How do I apply ExpressionMed tape?

My tape didn't stay on the full 10 days, what happened?

We're sorry you had this experience! Let's get to the bottom of this. First, there are very common mistakes that are easily avoidable. Check out our care instructions page to see if this addresses your issue.

I have sensitive skin. What is in ExpressionMed tapes? 

Our tapes are hypoallergenic and do not use natural tree saps, resins or rubbers.

Although uncommon, reactions typically occur due to improper skin preparation prior to application or during removal. Because skin type varies from person-to-person, we recommend reading our care instructions for more specific advice based on your skin type.  

If you do have an unusual reaction, we recommend consulting our skin care troubleshooting page or sending an email to hello@expressionmed.com with subject line “Reaction.”

 

Do you offer free samples?

We don't offer free full tape samples, BUT if you are interested in trying a small sample strip on your skin, check out our sample strip page.

 

How many come in a pack?

We offer our tapes to be purchased individually (1 tape), in a 5-pack (5 tapes of one design), and in a variety packs (4 tapes total; 1 tape of each design shown).

 

Do you accept HSA/FSA payment cards?

Yes! You can use HSA/FSA cards on our website for payment through Shopify Payments. Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee that any individual card will be accepted. These cards tend to have many rules and regulations attached. If you run into issues, the best thing to do is reach out to your card’s bank/administrator to find out why. 

 

My favorite design is out of stock, when will it be back?

As we continue to grow, we are evaluating which designs people love most to help us make decisions on which designs to re-print. 

To help us make these decisions, we encourage you to sign up for back-in-stock notifications when you see your favorite designs go out of stock. Bonus: You’ll be the first to know when it’s available again!

All you have to do is: 

  1. Navigate to the product page that you are interested in purchasing that is currently sold out.
  2. Enter your email and select SEND. 

By doing so, you’ll get an email notification the second your tape is restocked.

What does shipping cost and how long does it take?

Orders are shipped in a bubble envelope via the USPS. ExpressionMed orders are typically processed within 1 business day.

Which currency are your product prices listed in?

All of our prices are in USD by default. You can change the currency shown from the top banner if needed. 

 

What is Navidium Shipping Protection, and why was it added to my cart?

Shipping protection is automatically added to your cart at checkout. If your order is lost, stolen or damaged in transit to you, Navidium will replace your order at no additional cost. 

 

What if my shipment gets lost? 

On occasion, shipments may get lost in transit. We encourage you to purchase Navidium Shipping Protection with your order. This will automatically be added to your cart. 

If you have purchased Navidium and your order has not been delivered within 5 days of the estimated delivery, you may email hello@expressionmed.com to file a claim.  You will need to enter your email address associated with the order, and your Order Number.  All lost orders need to be reported to our team within 30 days of a lost shipment. 

 

Where does your product ship from and could there be duty fees if it has to cross the border?

We ship from Minneapolis, Minnesota. There could be duty fees at the border.

We would be happy to send you samples and information to share with your clients. Please email hello@expressionmed.com with your request. 

 

I have _______ device. Which tape should I buy?

Here are our guidelines for which tapes work for devices:

Dexcom G6 Regular / Wide / Mini work best for Dexcom G6

Dexcom G7 Regular / OverPatch / Mini work best for Dexcom G7 and Stelo

Medtronic/Oval or 2-piece Enlite CGM tapes work best for Medtronic 670G, Enlite, Guardian. Oval can also work for Freestyle Libre or Freestyle Libre with Miao Miao.

Libre 2 (Perfect fit and OverPatch) works for Freestyle Libre 14 Day System and Libre 2

Libre 3 (Perfect fit and OverPatch) works for Freestyle Libre 3

Pod / Pod Mini works for OmniPod Insulin Pump

Infusion Sets work for Tandem and Minimed.

Transmitter Stickers are the best way to add design to your Dexcom G6, Dexcom G7, Freestyle Libre 2, Libre 3, and Pod Insulin Pump.

What is the difference between the Libre Perfect Fit and the Libre Overpatches and which is recommended for the best longevity?

Both are designed to keep your sensor in place, but one is designed to "hug" your sensor in place and the other is designed to cover your sensor in full. 

We recommend our Libre Perfect Fit (with a hole and hugs your sensor in place) for the best longevity and wear time. These are designed to fit very snugly around your sensor and attach to the exposed adhesive on the Libre sensor itself. Since these are designed to fit very snugly around the sensor, the tape should be placed around your sensor prior to removing any of the backing to ensure the proper fit. Once in place, slowly remove the backing and smooth the tape onto your skin.
